What Makes a Celiac Cruise Special?

Perhaps you’ve never been on a cruise before and wonder what all the fuss is about? Naturally, those of us living gluten free are extremely selective and cautious in our travel habits. The thought of being marooned out to sea without any coeliac-safe life raft is genuinely terrifying.

But what if the cruise was 100% gluten free and coeliac-safe? How much would that change the equation and give you the confidence to explore new horizons and book that holiday you desperately deserve?

As an organisation, Celiac Cruise leave nothing to chance. They are partnered with the Celiac Disease Foundation as well as a host of gluten free brands that all contribute to the experience. Everything is covered to avoid cross-contamination, from the kitchen environment, chefs, waitstaff and beyond, no trace of gluten is allowed onboard.

Founder Maureen Basye (our upcoming Gluten Free Podcast guest) and co-founder and CEO Connie Saunders have established an enterprise with the explicit mission that no one should feel different or burdened due to dietary restrictions. Thanks to 5 years of experience, a host of exotic destinations and plenty of glowing testimonials, Australia finally gets the chance to see what it’s all about.

The 2025 schedule for Celiac Cruise delivers world-class holiday opportunities. From the Western Caribbean, Bordeaux, Alaska, Northern Europe, New York to the Bahamas, and the Mediterranean, you can set sail on an incredible gluten free vacation.

However, if you’re keen for something much closer to home, then Sydney 2026 is the moment.
